Temperature Measurement Sensors

At Royal Turbine, various types of temperature measurement sensors, including RTDs (Resistance Temperature Detectors) and Thermocouples, are designed and manufactured in a wide range of models, configurations, and material grades. These sensors are produced in compliance with international standards and are available in different design formats and process connection types.

Temperature Calibration and Quality Assurance

Royal Turbine operates an ISO 17025-certified calibration laboratory fully equipped with advanced instruments for temperature measurement and calibration.
All thermocouples and RTD (PT100) sensors manufactured by Royal Turbine are designed and tested in full compliance with international standards IEC 60584 and IEC 60751, ensuring measurement accuracy, stability, and interchangeability.
Each sensor undergoes comprehensive quality control and calibration procedures, including insulation resistance tests, thermocouple EMF verification, and RTD tolerance classification, performed under strictly controlled laboratory conditions.
The calibration facility is equipped with precision furnaces, reference sensors, and data acquisition systems that meet global traceability and ISO 17025 calibration requirements.
After successfully passing all calibration and reliability tests, every product is released to the market with full warranty and international after-sales support, guaranteeing consistent performance and long-term reliability in industrial applications worldwide.

Vibration and Endurance Testing

Alltemperature sensors undergo comprehensive vibration and endurance testing to ensure mechanical stability and eliminate any possibility of loose connections or signal interruptions during operation.
These tests are performed under controlled laboratory conditions using vibration simulators and thermal cycling equipment, guaranteeing the reliability and durability of each sensor in demanding industrial environments.

Temperature Measurement Sensors

1. Thermocouples (TC)

  • Widely used for high-temperature
    measurement.
  • Types: K, J, T, E, N, R, S, B
  • Suitable for harsh environments and
    wide temperature ranges.

2. Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTD)

  • High accuracy and stability for medium temperature ranges.
  • Common types: Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100.
  • Typically made of platinum, nickel, or copper.

Miniature Thermocouples and RTDs

Miniature thermocouples and RTDs offer precise temperature measurement in a compact and durable design.

Made from mineral-insulated cable, they ensure excellent stability and insulation at high temperatures, making them ideal for applications with limited installation space.

Bearing thermocouples and RTDS

Temperature measurement sensors, including RTDs and Thermocouples, in various mechanical configurations and element types. These sensors are suitable for installation in thrust and journal bearings of different rotating machinery systems, providing reliable and accurate temperature monitoring under demanding industrial conditions.

Processes Temperature sensors

Types of temperature sensors as like Thermocouple (type K, J, R, S, T and …) and RTD (PT100, PT1000, CU100, NI120 and …) designed for use in process applications across the oil and gas, petrochemical, refinery, and power generation industries.

High Temperature Sensors

Royal Turbine produces high-temperatureThermocouples Type R, S, B and K built from Inconel, stainless steel, and ceramic materials. Designed for oil, gas, petrochemical, and power industries, these sensors operate reliably up to 2,600°C and resist corrosion, oxidation, and thermal shock.
Each unit is precisely calibrated in our ILAC-accredited laboratory to ensure accuracy and compliance with international standards.

Multipoint Temperature Sensors

Multipoint temperature sensors that accurately monitor temperature at different levels within a single process line or vessel. These sensors are available in several configurations, including tubular probes with multiple sensing points and Thermowell assemblies that allow easy maintenance or sensor replacement without halting plant operations. Designed for demanding process environments, they are commonly applied in reactors, distillation and fractionation columns, and other units across the chemical, petrochemical, and refining industries.

Tube Skin Thermocouples

Royal Turbine durable Tube Skin Thermocouples and surface temperature sensors for furnaces, boilers, and process heaters. Designed for precise tube surface measurement, they ensure accurate monitoring and improved process safety. Protection pads provide resistance to flame and radiant heat, extending sensor life under harsh operating conditions.
